WHO IS THE PROGRAM FOR?
Impact Interns is for anyone who desires to deepen their walk with God, who feels like they have a ministry call on their life, or would like to be better equipped to serve in ministry or leadership opportunities within their local church. It is designed to help each student:
- Develop a strong theological foundation in the Word of God
- Grow spiritually and cultivate Christian character and lifestyle
- Develop personal disciplines and a vibrant devotional life
- Learn more about your unique calling and hone ministry skills
- Acquire a Biblical worldview
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS FOR THE PROGRAM
The prospective Impact Interns candidate must:
- Have a vibrant walk with God and a strong desire to go deeper in Him
- Be 18 years of age [by December 31, 2024]
- Have a highschool diploma or GED equivalent
- Have a pastoral and personal reference
- Have an up-to-date CPIC [criminal background check]
WHAT DOES THE PROGRAM INVOLVE
This program focuses on three core components to accomplish its goals:
- The WORD [6 Portland Bible College courses]
- The WALK [mentoring from our core leaders and/or Pastoral Team]
- The WORK [hands-on ministry experience in an on-going Impact ministry]
This program also incorporates a missions trip within Canada in its program.
HOW LONG DOES THE PROGRAM LAST?
The Impact Interns program is an intensive 9-month program that runs from the first week of September until the last Sunday in May. The program is 3 days per week [Tuesday – Thursday].
DAILY SCHEDULE
8:30am – 9:00am Quiet Place [prayer, worship, Bible reading, devotions]
9:00am – 12:00pm Combination of PBC classes, mentoring, ministry training
12:00pm – 12:30pm Lunch [bring your own lunch]
12:30pm – 2:00pm Combination of PBC classes, mentoring, ministry training
TUITION
Total cost = $4250 [for the year]
